SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- Justin Leone drove home three runs to help the San Antonio Missions defeat the Frisco RoughRiders, 5-2, to take a two games to one lead in the Texas League championship series.
With the bases loaded and two outs in the second inning, Leone ripped a double to right-center field to clear the bases and give his club a 4-0 lead.
Mike Curry and Elpidio Guzman both finished with a pair of hits, an RBI and a run scored for San Antonio, which is two wins away from its second consecutive league championship.
Clint Nageotte (1-0) allowed two runs and just one hit, striking out and walking five, in 6 1/3 innings for the win.
Jared Hoerman earned his first save of the postseason with a perfect ninth.
Adrian Gonzalez plated the lone run for Frisco on a groundout in the fourth inning.
