Red Sox will strip season tickets from scalpers

BOSTON (AP) -- The Red Sox plan to strip season tickets from fans who sell their seats to the Red Sox-Yankees showdown at Fenway Park, team officials said.
Officials from the Red Sox and Major League Baseball have been checking for tickets offered for sale on the Internet, and team spokesman Kevin Shea said they would note the locations of any tickets found on sale online.
Any season ticket holders found to have sold their seats will be banned from holding season tickets in the future.
