Jeter leads AL to All-Star victory
New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, owner of three World Series rings at age 26, added an All-Star MVP award Tuesday night. Starting in place of the injured Alex Rodriguez, Jeter had three hits, including a tie-breaking two-run single that put American League ahead for good in a 6-3 win over the National League at Turner Field. The AL has now won four straight and 10 of the last 13.
