TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Julian Tavarez allowed two hits over four innings and combined with three relievers on a seven-hitter as the Chicago Cubs posted a 15-0 Cactus League rout of the Anaheim Angels.

Tavarez did walk three before giving way to Jesus Sanchez, who allowed two hits over two innings. Alan Benes threw two solid innings before Jeff Fassero finished up.

Darren Lewis doubled, tripled and collected four RBI and Angel Echevarria homered and drove in five runs as the Cubs scored 14 runs over the final three innings. Robert Machado also homered for Chicago, which banged out 15 hits.

Anaheim starter Jarrod Washburn allowed a run and three hits over five innings, but veteran Dan Serafini was hammered for seven runs in 2 1/3 innings.
