PHOENIX (Ticker) -- Desi Relaford's solo homer snapped an eighth-inning tie and gave the Seattle Mariners a 5-4 victory against the Milwaukee Brewers in Cactus League action. Mike Cameron went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBI and Dan Wilson added two hits for the Mariners. Arthur Rhodes picked up the win in relief of Paul Abbott, who allowed three runs and six hits in six innings. Brian Fitzgerald finished up for the save. Alex Ochoa, Jose Hernandez and Alex Sanchez homered for the Brewers. Milwaukee starter Ben Sheets gave up four runs and seven hits in five innings. Takahito Nomura surrendered Relaford's game-winning homer. |
