TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Brad Fullmer and Tim Salmon homered and combined for seven RBI as the Anaheim Angels stomped the San Francisco Giants, 13-3, in a Cactus League rout. Fullmer's blast highlighted a five-run third and was the first of four Angels' homers. Salmon smacked his fourth, Troy Glaus his sixth and Scott Spiezio went deep for his third spring home run. Aaron Sele tossed six innings for the win, allowing three runs and seven hits with a walk and two strikeouts. Troy Percival, Matt Wise and Ben Weber each fired a perfect inning. Livan Hernandez yielded eight runs and eight hits -- including the homers by Fullmer and Glaus -- over five innings with five walks and three strikeouts. Joe Morgan surrendered the other homers in an ineffective inning. Yorvit Torrealba had three hits, including a homer, and Marvin Benard stroked two hits for the Giants. |
