TUCSON, Arizona (Ticker) -- Jose Guillen continued his torrid spring with four hits, two RBI and a stolen base as a split squad of Arizona Diamondbacks used an 18-hit attack to clobber the Chicago White Sox, 10-4, in a Cactus League game. Guillen was 4-for-4 with three singles, a triple and a sacrifice fly, raising his average to .404. Luis Gonzalez added three hits and two RBI and David Dellucci had two hits and also drove in two runs for the Diamondbacks. Every Arizona starter had at least one hit and Mark Grace was the only one who did not score a run. Ageless starter Mike Morgan got the win, allowing one run and four hits in four innings with two strikeouts. None of Chicago's first three pitchers was effective. Brian West gave up three runs -- two earned -- in three innings, Bob Howry surrendered three runs in his two-inning stint and Antonio Osuna yielded three runs in the sixth. Ray Durham, who hit a grand slam on Saturday, went 3-for-3 with an RBI for the White Sox. |
