TUCSON, Arizona (Ticker) -- Adam Kennedy's two-run triple highlighted a six-run fourth inning as the Anaheim Angels coasted to a 9-3 Cactus League rout of the Chicago White Sox. David Eckstein also tripled in the fourth for the Angels, who collected 13 hits against three pitchers. Scott Schoeneweis got the start for Anaheim and gave up one run and seven hits in six innings with two walks and three strikeouts. Al Levine and Mark Lukasiewicz each tossed a scoreless inning around Donne Wall, who gave up two runs in the eighth. White Sox starter Dan Wright, penciled into the rotation, fell to 0-4 this spring after allowing seven runs, nine hits and three walks in four innings. Frank Thomas homered and Paul Konerko went 3-for-3 to raise his Cactus League average to .500. Right fielder Aaron Rowand chipped in two hits and two RBI and threw out a runner at the plate. |
