		The hairy A's reflected the freewheeling spirit of the 1970s. They sported a wide range of facial fuzz, from Fu Manchus to full beards.     With the encouragement of the colorful and rakish Charles Oscar Finley (in houndstooth hat), most of the A's sprouted 'staches.
