One of the most memorable moments in World Series history came courtesy of Red Sox catcher Carlton Fisk in 1975. In the 12th inning of Game 6 against the Reds, Fisk hit a long fly ball down the left field line and jumped and waved his arms in an effort to keep it fair. The tactic worked and Fisk's solo homer kept Boston from elimination. But the Reds rebounded to win Game 7 -- and their first championship since 1940.
