Smith's homer to lead off the seventh capped a three home run night for the Rockies, who have won their first two games out
of the All-Star break.
But in a park known for it's tape-measure shots, an inside-the-park home run is a rarity. It's happened only seven times at
Coors Field and three times this year.

Baker and Werth needed a mad dash to score. Smith jogged across the plate without a play at home for the final run of the

Holliday hit a conventional two-run homer in the first inning - his fifth in his last 12 games - and Hawpe lead off the sixth
with a home run to give Colorado a 4-2 lead against

(2-1) to get the win.
Rusch lasted 5 2-3 innings and gave up two runs in winning his second straight start since being recalled from Triple-A on
''Very reminiscent of his start in Milwaukee,'' Hurdle said. ''Those are two good starts.''
Rusch was staked to a 3-0 lead after Will Taveras manufactured a run in the second. Taveras drew a two-out walk, stole second
and third and scored when catcher

Snell settled down after that, allowing just one more hit until Hawpe's homer.

Three Colorado relievers retired the final 10 Pittsburgh batters, and
