PORT CHARLOTTE, Florida (Ticker) -- Aramis Ramirez had four hits and knocked in three runs, lifting the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 5-4 Grapefruit League victory over the Texas Rangers.

Ramirez belted a solo homer in the third inning, his fourth of the spring, and delivered a two-run double in the next frame.

Kevin Young snapped a 4-4 tie in the seventh with a solo homer off Colby Lewis. Lewis gave up one run and three hits in four innings in relief of Kenny Rogers.

Rogers was roughed up for four runs and 10 hits in five innings. The veteran lefthander walked three and struck out four.

Carl Everett belted a two-run homer for Texas.
