JUPITER, Florida (Ticker) -- Peter Bergeron's two-out single in the seventh inning plated the lone run of the game as the Montreal Expos recorded a 1-0 victory over the St. Louis Cardiansl in the Grapefruit League.

Bergeron singled to center field off Gene Stechschulte scored Chris Truby from second base.

Montreal starter Britt Reames pitched four scoreless innings, allowing two hits, striking out one and walking none.

St. Louis counterpart Woody Williams pitched six scoreless innings.
