~~~ LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Craig Dingman walked three batters in the top of the ninth inning, including Brian Roberts with the bases loaded to force in the go-ahead run, as the Baltimore Orioles edged the Cincinnati Reds, 3-2.

The Reds had tied it in the seventh on an RBI double by Ruben Mateo.

Sidney Ponson pitched five strong innings for the Orioles, allowing one run and two hits while striking out four.

Melvin Mora had two hits for the Orioles and drew the first of the ninth-inning walks.

The Reds used 26 players in the final spring game for both teams. Cincinnati hosts the Chicago Cubs in its season opener on Monday. Baltimore entertains the New York Yankees on Monday.

The game attracted 13,131 fans at the home of the Reds' Class AAA affiliate.
