Strawberry was arrested on charges of cocaine possession and soliciting a female police officer. AP

NEW YORK (AP) -- Major league baseball interrogated troubled New York Yankees outfielder Darryl Strawberry for several hours on Sunday about his latest arrest, according to a published report.

In addition to the questioning by baseball and players union officials, Strawberry was also given another drug test, the New York Daily News reported today, citing multiple sources.

Though Yankees general manager Brian Cashman told the newspaper he had no knowledge of Strawberry's meeting with baseball officials, the Daily News also reported that the results of a drug test taken by Strawberry on Tuesday in Tampa, Fla., was to be made available to the team Monday.
