DENVER (AP) -- John Thomson of the Colorado Rockies was arrested after driving his car into a house in Tucson, Ariz. The pitcher and two residents inside the home were not injured.

Thomson tested above Arizona's legal blood-alcohol level but authorities did not give an exact reading. He could face several charges once the Pima County district attorney reviews the case.

The Rockies said Thomson was alone and no one was injured in the crash. But The Denver Post reported Friday that Thomson was with pitcher Jeff Tabaka, who was treated for cuts on his head.

Tucson Detective Marty Fuentes told the newspaper the two of them told him they were "out partying" and "driving fast" in a 25 mph zone.

Thomson underwent shoulder surgery in October and was placed on the 60-day disabled list March 23. The 26-year-old right-hander was 1-10 last year with an 8.04 ERA.
