2001 Hall of Fame Election Results The voting results for the 32 candidates who were eligible for the 2001 election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame via the Baseball Writers' Association of America election. In order to be elected, eligible candidates were required to garner at least 75% of the votes on ballots cast.
