Aug. 27, 2002	The Boston Red Sox have claimed Agbayani off waivers from the Rockies. In 48 games with Colorado, the outfielder batted just .205 with four homers and 19 RBI. He also spent some time with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Jun. 5, 2002	Agbayani has been activated from the disabled list by the Colorado Rockies. The outfielder had been sidelined since May 12 with a strained right hamstring. He was batting .217 with two homers before his injury.
