Aug. 19, 2002 Armas is expected to be activated from the disabled list by the Montreal Expos on Monday. The righthander, who had been sidelined with a back injury, is 8-10 with a 4.38 ERA in 22 starts this season.
Jul. 29, 2002 Armas strained a back muscle warming up before the second inning of Friday night's 6-5 Montreal win over Florida. He was placed on the disabled list after the game.
