Jul. 31, 2002	Segui is expected to be sidelined for at least another couple weeks. The Orioles' first baseman is recovering from surgery on his left hand. He is taking grounders and hitting lefthanded in batting practice.
May. 19, 2002	The Baltimore Orioles have placed Segui on the 15-day disabled list. The first baseman will undergo surgery on his ailing left hand next week. He is expected to be sidelined for at least 10 weeks.
May. 16, 2002	Segui will get a second opinion on his ailing left wrist when the Orioles return to Baltimore on Friday. The first baseman has been nursing the injury since being stepped on during a game on April 26.
May. 9, 2002	In spite of the bruised tendon in his left wrist, Segui was the DH for the Orioles on Wednesday's game against the Indians. Segui has said that he will attempt to play through the injury.
May. 8, 2002	Segui received a second opinion on his injured left wrist on Tuesday. After first being diagnosed as a torn tendon, the injury is said to be just a bruised tendon along with ligament damage. Segui may need to go on the DL.
