Cordova is day-to-day after burning his face in a tanning bed earlier this week. Under doctor's orders, the Orioles' outfielder has been told to stay out of the sun for a few days. He should return by this weekend.

May. 23, 2002 Cordova is day-to-day after burning his face in a tanning bed earlier this week. Under doctor's orders, the Orioles' outfielder has been told to stay out of the sun for a few days. He should return by this weekend.
Apr. 12, 2002 As anticipated, the Baltimore Orioles activated Cordova from the disabled list on Friday. The outfielder had been out with a strained right quadriceps. He will replace Luis Garcia on the team's roster.
Apr. 10, 2002 According to Orioles manager Mike Hargrove, Cordova should be activated from the disabled list on Friday when eligible. The outfielder has been out since the end of spring training with a strained right quadriceps.
Mar. 31, 2002 Cordova has been placed on the 15-day disabled list by the Baltimore Orioles with a strained right quadriceps. The move is retroactive to March 28. He will be eligible to return April 12.
Sep. 25, 2001 Cordova is listed as day-to-day for the Indians because of a sprained left wrist. The outfielder was unavailable on Monday as a result of the injury.
