(2-0, 1.31 ERA), the National League's ERA leader in 2004, looks to continue his stellar start for the Padres. Peavy has continued his strong pitching this year, allowing just three runs in 20 2/3 innings. Last time out, Peavy beat San Francisco, yielding just one run and six hits in seven innings.
Brandon Webb
(3-0, 3.26), the first Diamondback to win his first three starts of a season since
Randy Johnson
went 6-0 in 2002, starts for Arizona. He allowed three runs in six innings to earn the victory Monday against Colorado. Webb owns a 1-2 lifetime mark with a 2.84 ERA in five starts against San Diego.
