PHOENIX (AP) -- Curt Schilling came off the disabled list to start Saturday for the Arizona Diamondbacks, who optioned rookie right-hander Andrew Good to Triple-A Tucson to make roster room.

The right-handed Schilling broke his pitching hand when it was hit by a line drive off the bat of Sean Burroughs on May 30. He entered Saturday's game with a 4-3 record and 3.04 ERA.

Good is 4-2 with a 5.29 ERA in two stints with Arizona. His best outing came last Sunday night in Los Angeles, when he allowed one unearned run in six innings in a 2-1 victory over the Dodgers.

Good's ERA took a big jump when he allowed seven runs in two innings of relief in his last two outings.
