BIOGRAPHY: As a strong passer and finisher, Curry could be an intriguing option for NBA teams. Curry has not hired an agent, so he still has the option to return to Oklahoma State for his senior season. Character issues may scare off some teams. Curry pleaded guilty to two felony charges during his senior year of high school after he allegedly sold marijuana to an undercover police officer in February 2004. He served three years' probation and performed 200 hours of community service. Curry's guilty plea prompted Tar Heels coach Roy Williams to rescind a scholarship offer to Curry, whose 3,307 career points are the most in North Carolina high school history. Oklahoma State gave him a chance, and his role steadily increased. He went from a 9.4 scoring average as a freshman to finishing with 17.3 points per game this past season. Although he averaged a team-high 3.7 assists in 35 games as a junior, Curry was not shy when it came to shooting. He was sixth in the Big 12 in field goals made (202), fourth in shots attempted (447) and second in 3-pointers made (88) and attempted (214). Had a career-high 40 points on 12-for-18 shooting in an 86-82 loss to Baylor on March 3.Needs to improve his ballhandling and defense.
