BIOGRAPHY: Has entered the NBA draft as a junior, but is unsure if he will return to Georgetown, where he could be the focal point of a team trying to return to the Final Four. Last season's Big East player of the year, Green's statistics were not overly impressive, averaging 14.3 points 6.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. But his ability to master the Princeton-based offense of screens and back cuts used by John Thompson III showcased his savvy. Perhaps the best passing forward in college basketball last season. Shot 37.5 percent from 3-point range this past season, but will likely have to further develop his range since he projects as a small forward in the NBA. Does not have a strong first step to the basket, lacks the game-breaking athleticism NBA teams look for in wing players. A solid defensive player, averaged 1.2 blocks in his three seasons with the Hoyas. If there is one knock on Green, it's his lack of consistent assertiveness on the offensive end. After willing Georgetown into the Final Four with breakout wins in the regionals, he all but refused to take over when the Hoyas needed him to in their Final Four loss to Ohio State, taking just five shots despite playing all 40 minutes. Does not excel at one particular skill, but has outstanding versatility and has the talent to be a lottery pick.
