BIOGRAPHY: After an underwhelming junior season, White had an impressive senior campaign, earning Big Ten player of the year honors while averaging 17.4 points and 10.3 rebounds for the Hoosiers. White also boosted his field goal percentage nearly 10 points from his junior season, making 60.5 percent of his shots. He received a medical redshirt for the 2005-06 season, but is young for a for a senior - he will not turn 22 until Aug. 31. White is somewhat undersized for a power forward, but has bulked up and possesses a long wingspan that makes him seem bigger. He is a physical player and has recorded a number of highlight-reel dunks, but he can have trouble finishing at the basket. White has a good post-up game and turnaround jumper. He has a decent mid-range jumper, but he will need to improve on his range. White's wingspan also makes him a good rebounder, and he is an excellent defender who averaged 2.0 blocked shots during his college career. He has troubles handling the ball, and the injuries he has struggled with throughout his college career have affected his athleticism. White projects as a late first- or early second-round pick.
