BIOGRAPHY: Pargo possesses solid skills, but does not appear to have enough upside to make an impact in the NBA. He is leaving Gonzaga after his junior season, but has not hired an agent, so he reserves the option of returning for his senior season. In 2007-08, Pargo was the West Coast Conference player of the year and an Associated Press All-America honorable mention. He averaged 12.1 points, 6.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds. He is very athletic and can run the floor well, as he?GVs a very strong ball handler. He has the ability to create plays and is very fast off the dribble, but his quickness against WCC competition is not comparable to the speed of the defenses he might see in the pros. He has a solid mid-range jump shot, but is not very strong away from the hoop. He shot only 26.5 percent (22-for-83) from beyond the arc - not too impressive for a guard. He is the younger brother of Jannero Pargo, who plays for the New Orleans Hornets, and was undrafted out of Arkansas. Jeremy will likely follow in his brothers' footsteps, and also go undrafted.
