Biography: Millsap is the younger brother of power forward Paul Millsap, a second-round pick of the Utah Jazz in 2006. Elijah Millsap enters this year's draft as a first-team All-Conference USA selection after leading the league with 9.5 rebounds a game, and finishing fifth in scoring at 16.1 points per game. He set school records in his only season at UAB with 17 double-doubles, 324 total rebounds, and 236 free-throw attempts. His double-double total also ranked 13th in the nation. Prior to joining the Blazers, Millsap starred for two seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette, where he averaged 10.7 points and 6.2 rebounds in 53 games, including 40 starts. In 2007, he was named the Sun Belt conference freshman of the year after averaging 12.4 points and a team-high 7.3 boards for the Ragin' Cajuns. Like his more-established older brother, Elijah Millsap should expect to hear his name called in the second round on draft night.
