Probable Starters:
F -- Carla Berube (6-0, 2.7 ppg, 1.3 rpg)
F -- Stacey Lovelace (6-4, 14.0 ppg, 5.4 rpg)
C -- Kara Wolters (6-7, 9.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg)
G -- Jennifer Rizzotti (5-5, 7.9 ppg, 3.3 rpg)
G -- Carolyn Young (5-9, 21.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg)
Strengths: Lovelace will shore up the frontcourt and provide a
second scoring option to take the pressure off Young. If healthy,
Wolters should blossom into a force at center. Rizzotti and Young
form a dynamic backcourt. Rizzotti is a point guard in the
classic mode, while Young is a scoring machine.
Weaknesses: Wolters is stll recovering from shoulder surgery. If
she is not ready, there will be a huge hole in the middle. Rookie
Barbara Bolden is lost for the season with a eye injury. They
must cutdown on their 19.5 a game turnover average.
Key Losses: F Shanda Berry, G E.C. Hill, C Karen Deden.
New Faces: C Barbara Farris, G Limor Mizrachi, F Stacey Lovelace.
