The parting gift for WNBA-bound Purdue coach Carolyn Peck and seniors Stephanie White-McCarty and Ukari Figgs -- a national championship. The top-ranked Boilermakers won their first national championship Sunday night, defeating Duke 62-45. All-American and Wade Trophy winner White-McCarty went down with an ankle injury with 4:01 left in the game and Purdue leading 47-42. She did not return, but the Boilermakers went on a 13-0 run to put the game out of reach.
