Purdue's Ukari Figgs, 18 points, Tournament MVP The first half produced the lowest point total in title game history, with Duke leading 22-17. Purdue, lead by Ukari Figgs, found its shot in the second half. The Boilermakers held a 47-42 lead with 4:01 left to play when senior Stephanie White-McCarty went down with an ankle injury and did not return. With White-McCarty out, Purdue went on a 13-0 run to put the game away. Purdue: Graduates two seniors -- Figgs and White-McCarty. Peck is leaving to become coach of the WNBA's Orlando Miracle. Purdue has not named a new coach.
Duke: Graduates six seniors, including three starters -- Michele Van Gorp, Nicole Erickson and Hilary Howard.
