Outlook
Other than a 1996 trip to the national championship, the Orangemen sometimes suffer from questions about whether their results match their talent. This team has an excellent chance to put those questions to rest with Thomas, last year's Big East defensive player of the year, and the resourceful Hart leading the way. A key is Blackwell, who offers another scoring option for a team that should be solid defensively. The expectations are high for the Orangemen, who are ranked in the Top 15 of most polls and return all all five starters, therefore being able to rely on seasoned personnel, more so than perhaps any other team in the league.
