Illinois, Arizona could meet for third time
They've already split close games in Maui and Chicago. A rubber match in San Antonio could be on the horizon. Top-seeded Illinois and second-seeded Arizona could meet again with a Final Four berth on the line if the Midwest Region holds to form. An early exit in the Big Ten tournament didn't hurt the Illini's hopes for a top seed, while the Wildcats are regaining their early-season form thanks to big man Loren Woods.
