  • Sacramento State's nine wins last season marked the school's most since joining the Division I ranks in the 1991-92 season. For accomplishing this feat, Sac State coach Jerome Jenkins was given a two-year contract extension.
  • On the flip side, Montana fired its coach, Don Holst, after winning the conference tournament and garnering the league's only NCAA Tournament berth.
  • Montana hired former Florida State and DePaul coach Pat Kennedy.
  • Montana State lost starting power forward Damir Latovic, who left to play professionally in Europe. He's the first MSU player to ever leave school early for professional basketball.
  • Portland State fired head coach Joel Sobotka after the season and hired Wyoming assistant Heath Schroyer.
