These three teams stand above all the rest:
1. 1991 Runnin' Rebels of UNLV.
Defense never rested. Whupped Duke so
soundly in title game-by a record 30-point margin, 103-73-that Bobby Hurley got ill.
2. 1968 Bruins of UCLA.
Best of John Wooden's many great teams, avenged only loss by laying 101-69 hurt on
Houston in national semifinal. Then beat North Carolina 78-55 for title.
3. 1976 Hoosiers of Indiana.
Stupendous Six; last team to negotiate
entire season without a loss (32-0). Beat Michigan 86-68 in final.
