These schools pulled off the biggest shockers in tournament history:
1. Texas Western, 1966 final over Kentucky.
The unheralded Miners take it to Rupp's Runts, 72-65, in historic Brown vs. Board of Education game that hastens the desegregation of college basketball.
2. Villanova, 1985 final over Georgetown.
No one gives the Wildcats a shot; everyone says they will need a perfect game to have a chance. Well, they just about get it. Become the lowest seed (8) to win a championship with 66-64 victory.
3. Loyola (Chicago), 1963 final over Cincinnati.
A Vic Rouse putback provides the winning margin in overtime as the Ramblers keep the Bearcats from a three-peat, 60-58.
