Marquette at East Carolina

GREENVILLE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Ninth-ranked Marquette looks to rebound from its second Conference USA loss of the season on Tuesday when it plays its final regular-season road game at East Carolina.

Marquette (23-4, 12-2 USA) had its 12-game winning streak snapped Friday with a 63-62 setback to Cincinnati, which took over first place in the American Division of Conference USA.

Dwyane Wade had 19 points and Cardell Henry added 13 for the Golden Eagles, who finished the regular season on Friday when they host DePaul. Cincinnati plays at Louisville on Wednesday.

Wade, who has scored in double digits in each of the last 11 games, leads the team with 18.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Henry adds 15.1 points per contest and Odartey Blankson contributes 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds for Marquette, which has held its last 16 opponents to less than 50 percent from the field.

East Carolina (11-16, 4-10) is mired in sixth place in the American Division, but has won three of its last four games and four straight at home. The Pirates have not lost at Minges Coliseum since an 80-58 defeat to DePaul on January 23.

Kenyatta Brown scored 21 points to lead East Carolina to a 63-46 victory over Houston on Saturday. Brown, who will be playing in his final regular-season home game, is averaging 11.4 points while Erroyl Bing paces the team with 13.1 points and 8.7 rebounds a contest.

The Pirates close out their regular season at Texas Christian on Saturday.

Wade scored 24 points and Henry contributed 16 as Marquette topped East Carolina, 70-58, on February 6 in the first-ever meeting between the schools.
