BLOOMINGTON, Indiana (Ticker) -- After an impressive victory, 11th-ranked Indiana looks to improve to 6-0 on Saturday when it meets Illinois-Chicago for the first time.

In an ACC-Big Ten Challenge contest on Tuesday, Indiana (5-0) committed just four turnovers in an 80-74 overtime triumph over No. 8 Maryland in a rematch of last season's national championship game.

The Hoosiers shot just under 30 percent but nevertheless overcame a 14-point deficit.

Tom Coverdale scored a career high-tying 30 points, and Jeff Newton added 13 and a career-best 14 rebounds. Newton has recorded back-to-back double-doubles.

The Flames (2-1) have won two games in a row, including a 78-65 triumph at Illinois State last Saturday.

Martell Bailey contributed a season-high 20 points on 8-of-9 shooting, and had nine assists and a career high-tying seven rebounds. Armond Williams had 14 points and Aaron Carr added 11 in the win.

UIC is 5-31 all time against Big Ten opponents. The Flames last beat a Big Ten team on November 21, 1997, when they defeated Michigan State.
