MOBILE, Alabama (Ticker) -- Fourth-ranked Alabama heads to a neutral site for the third time this season on Saturday evening when it faces Bowling Green at the Mitchell Center in the second game of the Coors Classic.
Alabama (6-0) improved to 3-0 at home with a 77-68 victory over St. Bonaventure last Saturday. Erwin Dudley, the reigning SEC Player of the Year, collected 28 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Crimson Tide.
Kenny Walker added 12 points and 10 rebounds and Antoine Pettway came off the bench for 11 points. Point guard Mo Williams, who is averaging 15.7 points and 5.0 assists, scored 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
The Tide defeated Oklahoma in New York at the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic and Ohio State in Springfield, Massachusetts at the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic. This game marks a homecoming for Alabama coach Mark Gottfried, who went to high school here.
Alabama has led at halftime in every game this season and has averaged over 40 points in the first half.
Bowling Green (2-3) lost its second straight game when it fell at Michigan on Wednesday, 83-57. Kevin Netter netted 20 points and freshman Ronald Lewis added 14 but the Falcons managed just nine baskets in the second half as the Wolverines posted their first win.
Netter leads the team with a 20.8 scoring average and Jared Reimold, a transfer from Loyola-Maryland, is second at 16.5 points per game. The Falcons are coached by former Indiana standout Dan Dakich.
