PALO ALTO, California (Ticker) -- No. 20 Stanford returns from a two-week break and tries to remain unbeaten at home on Saturday when it hosts intrastate rival St. Mary's at Maples Pavilion.
The Cardinal have won their first three games at Maples Pavilion, where they are 99-18 since the 1994-95 season. They have won 17 straight non-conference home games here since the 1998-99 season.
Stanford (4-1) had its season-opening four-game winning streak snapped with a 74-57 loss to North Carolina in the Preseason NIT championship on November 29.
