NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Seventh-ranked Oklahoma tries to extend its winning streak to six games and push its home run to 28 on Saturday when it hosts Georgia State at the Lloyd Noble Center.

Oklahoma has won five in a row since opening the season with a six-point loss to Alabama at the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in New York on November 14. The Sooners are winning by an average of 21 points per game during the streak.

The Sooners have won 27 consecutive home games, dating to the 1999-2000 season. It is the third-longest home winning streak in the nation behind Brigham Young (39) and Tennessee Tech (32).

Oklahoma (5-1) improved to 5-0 on a six-game homestand with a 69-47 victory over Georgia State last Saturday.

Hollis Price scored 13 of his season-high 22 points in the first half and Quannas White had 13 points and seven assists for the Sooners, who are averaging nearly 73 points per game this season.

Georgia State (3-4) has dropped three straight after winning three of its first four and stumbled to a 78-54 loss to Mississippi State on Wednesday.

Cedric Patton scored 21 points, but leading scorer Nate Williams was held to nine for the Panthers, who went scoreless for nearly seven minutes in the second half.

Oklahoma has won its first two meetings with Georgia State by a combined 71 points. The teams have not faced each other since December 19, 1987.
