DES MOINES, Iowa (Ticker) -- It could be another tight Missouri Valley Conference game when 15th-ranked Creighton visits Drake on Saturday.
It is the most-played rivalry in Missouri Valley Conference history with Creighton (18-2, 8-1) holding a 78-51 advantage in the all-time series.
Although Kyle Korver scored 23 points on 7-of-8 shooting in the Bluejays' 84-63 home win on January 5, six of the last seven meetings have been decided by eight points or less.
The Bluejays have won two straight since having a six-game winning streak stopped at Evansville on January 23.
Creighton is coming off a 74-46 romp at Indiana State on Wednesday. Korver had 14 points and 10 rebounds for his eighth career double-double as the Bluejays limited Indiana State to 31 percent shooting and held a 41-26 advantage on th boards.
Drake (7-12, 2-6) returns home after a two-game trip at Wichita State and Southwest Missouri State.
In Tuesday's 65-45 setback at Southwest Missouri State, leading scorer J.J. Sola scored 13 points. But the Bulldogs went without a basket for nearly nine minutes late in the second half.
