OMAHA, Nebraska (Ticker) -- No. 18 Creighton seeks to remain unbeaten at home on Wednesday night when it hosts last-place Indiana State in Missouri Valley Conference action.
Creighton (22-3, 12-2 MVC) is 14-0 at home this season, winning every game but three by double figures. The Bluejays are tied for first place in the conference with Southern Illinois.
The Bluejays had a six-game winning streak snapped with Saturday's 80-74 loss at Wichita State. Kyle Korver managed to score only 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting before fouling out.
Mike Grimes scored 14 points off the bench, but Michael Lindeman struggled. Lindeman, who had been averaging 18.3 points over his previous three games, missed all three shots Saturday and scored two points.
Despite the rough outing, Korver continues to have a stellar senior season, leading the team in scoring (18.0), rebounding (6.0) and steals (1.6).
Indiana State (6-18, 2-11) lost its ninth straight road game with a 65-51 defeat at Southwest Missouri State on Saturday. Lamar Grimes led the Sycamores with 17 points.
The starting lineup for Indiana State features four newcomers, including freshmen David Moss and Ted Morris.
Korver collected 14 points and 10 rebounds and DeAnthony Bowden added 12 points as Creighton rolled to a 74-46 rout at Indiana State on January 29. No player reached double figures for the Sycamores, who have lost seven of the last eight to the Bluejays.
