COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Ticker) -- No. 3 Oklahoma hopes to bounce back from an ugly loss and notch its eighth straight victory over slumping Texas A&M in a Big 12 Conference contest on Saturday.
Hollis Price was the only Sooner in double figures with 16 points as Oklahoma fell at Missouri on Wednesday, 67-52. The Sooners shot just 27 percent (15-of-55) from the field in the loss.
The loss dropped Oklahoma (109-5, 10-3 Big 12) out of a first-place tie with Kansas in the Big 12. It trails the Jayhawks by one-half game.
Just 4-3 away from home, the Sooners close out their road schedule at College Station, where they own a 5-1 all-time record. Overall, Oklahoma is 18-1 against the Aggies.
The Sooners have dropped two of their past three on the road.
Leandro Garcia-Morales returned from an ankle injury and led the way with nine points as Texas A&M (13-11, 5-8) fell at Kansas, 85-45 on Wednesday.
Coach Melvin Watkins is expecting a better effort from his team against the Sooners.
"We didn't play well against Kansas, but I think we'll bounce back," Watkins said. "We know what's at stake as we head into this final stretch of games."
At home, the Aggies are 9-3, and are trying for their first 10-win season at home in Reed Arena's five-year history. The last time they won 10 games at home was 1993-94, when they went 10-4.
