PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Temple hosts Boston College at the historic Palestra in the National Invitation Tournament.
The Owls (19-11) played one game at the famed gym earlier this season, falling 71-46 to Pennsylvania on December 7. Temple defeated Philadelphia rival Drexel, 68-59, on Tuesday in an opening-round game at the Liacouras Center, which is being used for a conference this weekend.
Boston College (19-11) topped Fairfield 90-78 in its opening-round game on Tuesday. Troy Bell scored 28 points, hit five 3-pointers and took over down the stretch as Boston College pulled away for a 90-78 victory.
Freshman Craig Smith added 19 points and reserve Jermaine Watson chipped in 18 for the Eagles.
The Eagles and Owls have not met since Temple earned a 79-72 victory over Boston College on December 8, 1992.
