OMAHA, Nebraska (Ticker) -- Kyle Korver was close to perfect - just like his team this season.

Korver scored 23 points on 7-of-8 shooting as 15th-ranked Creighton rolled to an 84-63 victory over Drake in a Missouri Valley Conference matchup.

After posting a career-high 32 points in the Bluejays' conference opener Tuesday, Korver turned in another stellar performance. He made 3-of-4 3-pointers and 6-of-6 free throws as Creighton improved upon its best start in 60 years.

Mike Grimes and DeAnthony Bowden scored 11 points apiece and combined to make 8-of-10 shots for the Bluejays, who shot 51 percent (29-of-57), made 6-of-19 3-pointers and 20-of-24 free throws.

The Bluejays never trailed after Larry House and Tyler McKinney made consecutive jumpers to open the game. They had a 15-2 lead as the Bulldogs managed just one basket in the first 6 1/2 minutes.

After a three-point play by Drake's Quantel Murphy, Korver made a jumper and two free throws to spark a 13-3 run. Nathan Funk had a layup and a 3-pointer during the spurt, which gave Creighton (11-1, 2-0 MVC) a 28-8 cushion with 9:57 to go.

The Bluejays shot 62 percent (16-of-26) in the first half while holding the Bulldogs to just 39 percent (10-of-26) and had a 48-30 halftime lead.

Drake buried three 3-pointers during a 13-2 run to pull within 55-47 with 14:22 left in the game but went scoreless for the next nine minutes.

The Bluejays scored 14 straight points during the Bulldogs' drought, highlighted by seven points from Korver. Joe Dabbert's tip shot capped the run for a 72-47 cushion and Creighton improved to 7-0 at home this season.

Greg Danielson had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead Drake (6-8, 0-2), which has lost six of seven games on the road this season.

J.J. Sola and Luke McDonald had 13 points apiece for the Bulldogs, who shot just 41 percent (21-of-51) and committed 22 turnovers, leading to 22 points for the Bluejays.
