OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Harold Arceneaux scored 27 points and Noel Jackson added 21 as Weber State beat Northern Arizona 82-75 Saturday night to win the Big Sky Conference tournament.

Arceneaux scored 10 points in the final 8:17 as Weber State, using a ball-hawking defense that produced nine steals and forced 13 turnovers, steadily pulled away from Northern Arizona.

Weber State (24-7), the regular-season champions, led by only two points with 8:17 left before Arceneaux hit a 3-pointer to put the Wildcats up 56-51.

Northern Arizona (21-8) pulled within 65-61 with 3:45 left on Ross Land's 3-pointer, but Weber State answered with a 3 from Eric Ketcham.

After Billy Hix missed a 3-point shot for Northern Arizona, Noel Jackson scored to give Weber State a 70-61 lead.

Northern Arizona, which was led by Frank Casey's 22 points, took a 36-30 lead late in the first half on a 3-pointer by Rod Hutchings. But Weber State then scored five straight points on a 3-pointer by Eddie Gill and a basket by Arceneaux.
