UC Santa Barbara beats Oregon 74-61

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) -- Kayte Christensen scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half as No. 23 UC Santa Barbara beat No. 15 Oregon 74-61 on Monday night. Christensen also had 11 rebounds. Stacy Clinesmith added 14 points and eight assists, and Erin Buescher had 12 points. Christensen helped Santa Barbara (5-3) take a 44-40 lead with 10:49 remaining, and the Gauchos stretched it to 16 at 72-56 with Oregon center Jenny Mowe on the bench because of foul trouble. Mowe, who finished with eight block shots and seven points, was limited to 10 minutes in the second half. Shaquala Williams led Oregon (6-2) with 18 points, and Lindsey Dion added 15.
