TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Jess Zinobile scored 21 of her 32 points in the second half as St. Francis of Pennsylvania won its fifth consecutive Northeast Conference tournament with a 74-60 victory over Wagner on Monday night.

Jen DeFilippo added 19 points and 13 rebounds as the top-seeded Red Flash (23-7) won for the 18th time in 21 games and prevented sixth-seeded Wagner (15-15) from reaching the NCAA tournament for the first time.

Zinobile, who had a tournament and school-record 46 points in a semifinal victory over Long Island University on Saturday, added 11 rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Toni Roker had 17 points, Nia Ryan added 16 and Monique Lee had 13 and 11 rebounds for Wagner.

The Seahawks knocked off third-seeded Sacred Heart and second-seeded Mount St. Mary's in reaching the title game at the Sovereign Bank Arena, and they gave St. Francis plenty to worry about for 26 minutes.

After Lee scored inside to get Wagner within 41-39 with 14:10 to play, Zinobile scored seven straight points to ignite a 15-6 spurt that she also ended with a 3-pointer for a 56-45 lead with 9:18 to play.

The closest Wagner got after that was 61-55 on a jumper by Ryan with 5:58 to play. DeFilippo then hit a layup and Zinobile made two free throws to quickly push the margin back to 10 and Wagner never threatened again.

The five consecutive conference titles extended St. Francis' own record. The first four came with Jenny Przekwas coaching the team. She left after last season to coach Washington State and was replaced by Myndi Hill, who had been an assistant at East Tennessee State.
