COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CNNSI.com) -- Seven participants from the most recent Final Four are among 45 college players who have accepted invitations to try out for two U.S. national teams that will compete at the World Championship for Young Men and World University Games.

The trials will be held June 1-3 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

Three members from Duke's 2001 national title team, Carlos Boozer, Chris Duhon and Mike Dunleavy; three members of Maryland's Final Four squad, Lonny Baxter, Juan Dixon and Tajh Holden; and Michigan State Final Four team member Marcus Taylor lead the group. So do All-Americans Frank Williams of Illinois and Troy Bell of Boston College, Indiana freshman sensation Jared Jeffries and Gonzaga star Dan Dickau.

The 2001 USA World Championship for Young Men Team, coached by Syracuse's Jim Boeheim, will compete August 3-12 in Saitama, Japan, in the 2001 FIBA World Championship for Young Men Tournament. Held every four years and originally designed for men 22-years-old or younger, FIBA lowered the age eligibility to 21-years-old or younger in December 1998 and changed the competition name to the World Championship for Young Men.

The World University Games, held every two years, is a multi-sport competition open to men between the ages of 17 and 28. This summer the World University Games Team, coached by Penn State's Jerry Dunn, will be held Aug. 22 - Sept. 1 in Beijing, China.
